What we collect

• What you type into the gift: the recipient's name, your name, your messages, dates and any photos you add.
• Your email address and phone number, to send the link and the tax invoice.
• Payment status and a payment reference from Razorpay — never your card, UPI PIN or banking credentials, which are entered on Razorpay's own page and never reach us.
• Basic usage data: device type, approximate region, and which screens were used, to fix what breaks.

Why we collect it

To build and host your gift site, to deliver the link, to issue a GST invoice as the law requires, and to answer you when you write in. We do not sell your data and we do not use the contents of a gift for advertising.

Photographs

A gift can carry one photograph, and only if you choose to add one. It is optional everywhere — skip it and nothing about your gift changes.

Before a photo leaves your phone we resize it and rebuild it from the picture alone. That removes the information cameras attach to a file without showing it to you: the GPS coordinates of where the photo was taken, the date and time, and the device it was taken on. Our servers strip that information again on arrival, and the file as you chose it is never stored. What we keep is the picture and nothing else.

Your photo is hosted by us rather than linked from elsewhere, so it keeps working for as long as your gift does. It is reachable only through a long random address, the same way the gift itself is. It is deleted when the gift's content is deleted, and you can remove it yourself at any time before you publish.

Please only upload photos you have the right to use. If a photo of you has been published without your agreement, write to us using the link at the bottom of the page and we will take it down.

Who can see a gift site

Anyone holding the link. Links are long and random so they cannot be guessed, and they are not listed on search engines, but a link is a key — whoever you send it to can pass it on. Only send it to people you mean to see it.

Who else sees your data

Our hosting provider, Razorpay for payment, and our email and messaging providers for delivery. Each receives only what that job needs. We do not share anything else.

How long we keep it

Your gift site and its contents, including any photograph, are kept for the year you paid for, then deleted 30 days after it ends. Receipts and payment records are kept for eight years, as tax law requires. Drafts you never published are deleted after 90 days of inactivity, and so is a photo uploaded to a gift that was never published.

Your choices

Write to ashrobstech@gmail.com to see a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Deleting a published site makes its link stop working immediately.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep your draft while you work, and privacy-respecting analytics that do not follow you across other websites. Your unfinished draft is also stored in your own browser so you do not lose it.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, write to ashrobstech@gmail.com and we will delete it.
